Job summary

HDR is seeking a WTEM Business Class Director to lead wastewater and effluent management programs. You will direct technical excellence, mentor teams, build cross-functional relationships, and guide risk management and proposal support for complex projects.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, and active engagement with professional organizations to advance HDR’s practice and client outcomes. Travel is substantial as needed to support diverse locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• Experience leading diverse teams in a professional services environment.
• Active involvement in industry organizations and continued professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Build relationships with related business classes and operations.
• Lead technical risk management and QA processes across projects.
• Oversee development and application of technical tools, standards, and techniques.
