Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture/Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
• Professional or Architecture/Engineering registration for leadership roles overseeing technical design.
• Experience building and managing diverse teams.
• Ability to cooperate with HDR leaders and managers on business class efforts.
• Commitment to HDR values and an active employee-owned culture.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Build relationships with related business classes, sectors, and operations.
• Lead risk management and technical advisory services on projects.
• Drive quality assurance and control processes.
• Oversee development and application of technical tools, standards, and techniques.
• Ensure staffing with qualified, experienced personnel and effective worksharing.
• Develop strategic plan with market sector directors and provide input to leadership.
• Lead applied research and engagement to advance WTEM capabilities.
• Maintain relationships with university programs for workforce development.
• Facilitate teamwork across offices and functions; monitor performance and assign resources.
• Oversee strategic hires within the business group.
• Support client development and project pursuits; participate in industry organizations.
