Job summary

Republic Services in Houston is seeking a results-driven Account Executive to identify leads, prospect new business, and sell the full suite of waste and recycling services to commercial and municipal clients.

You will deliver compelling presentations, manage opportunities in Salesforce, and develop relationships with key decision-makers to exceed revenue goals. A valid driver's license and waste industry experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct selling experience in a customer-facing role.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Waste or service industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify viable leads and acquire new commercial, industrial, and recycling business to meet revenue goals.
• Follow up on leads within 2 hours and create follow-up tasks in Salesforce.
• Deliver sales presentations to prospective clients and close sales.
• Schedule blocks for cold calling and establish initial and follow-up appointments with decision-makers.
• Maintain knowledge of services, pricing, and market trends to grow revenue.
