Job summary

Republic Services in Houston seeks a Senior Account Executive to grow profitable commercial and recycling business within an assigned territory. You will lead prospecting, deliver presentations, and close multi-service waste solutions for municipal, industrial, and recycling clients.

Role requires extensive sales experience, strong client engagement, and use of Salesforce for pipeline management. The position offers leadership exposure and a path to Sales Manager responsibilities.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of relevant sales experience.
Minimum of 5 years of direct selling experience in a customer-facing role.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Identifies viable leads and acquires new profitable commercial and industrial recycling business to meet revenue goals.
Prepares and delivers sales presentations to prospective clients and closes deals with key decision makers.
Uses Salesforce daily to track activities, document progress, and manage the pipeline.
Regularly meets with Sales Manager to review progress toward goals and key relationships.
Represents the company at trade shows, chamber events, and other community activities.
Coaches and develops Account Executives and may act as Sales Manager when needed.
