Republic Services in the United States is seeking an Account Executive responsible for identifying leads and selling the full suite of services across municipal, commercial, industrial and recycling sectors within an assigned geographic area.

You will deliver compelling sales presentations to key decision makers, follow up on leads, and log all activities in Salesforce to build accurate profiles and close profitable contracts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of direct selling experience in a customer-facing role.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Identifies viable leads and acquires new, profitable commercial, industrial and recycling business to meet revenue goals.
• Follows up on leads within 2 hours and creates a follow up task in Salesforce.
• Uses Salesforce daily to log activities and develop robust customer profiles.
• Prepares and delivers sales presentations to prospective clients and closes sales.
• Conducts regular cold call prospecting to establish initial and follow-up appointments.
• Keeps aware of market behavior and competitive trends in designated markets.
• Maintains knowledge of services, pricing, and cross-sell opportunities to grow revenue.
• Completes required paperwork on time per company policy.
• Meets with Sales Manager weekly to review activities and progress.
• Represents the company at events and trade shows as needed.
