Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Account Executive to identify leads and proactively prospect and sell new and profitable business within an assigned geographic area. You will deliver comprehensive waste management solutions and build relationships with key decision-makers in the market.

The role focuses on meeting revenue goals through new business development, effective follow-up, and ongoing client engagement across municipal, commercial, industrial, and recycling services.

Qualifications

• 2+ years direct selling experience in a customer-facing role
• Valid driver's license
• Waste or service industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify viable leads and acquire new profitable commercial, industrial and recycling business
• Follow up on leads quickly and document next steps in Salesforce
• Deliver sales presentations to prospective clients and close sales
• Schedule calls and meetings with decision-makers and maintain activity logs
• Maintain knowledge of services, pricing, and market trends to grow revenue
• Attend trade shows and community events to increase company visibility
