Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Account Executive in the United States to identify leads and prospect, selling the full suite of waste and recycling services. The role requires presenting to decision-makers, managing relationships, and meeting revenue targets within an assigned geographic area.

You'll use Salesforce daily, pursue new business opportunities, and participate in industry events to grow Republic Services' market share.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years direct selling experience in a customer-facing role.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Waste or service industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify viable leads and acquire new, profitable commercial, industrial and recycling business to meet revenue goals.
• Deliver sales presentations to prospective clients and close sales with key decision makers.
• Utilize Salesforce daily to schedule, document activities and build prospect information profiles.
• Maintain awareness of market trends and competitive activity in designated markets.
• Attend trade shows and events to increase company visibility and relationships.
