Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Account Executive to identify leads, prospect and sell a full suite of waste and recycling services in an assigned market. You will meet with decision makers, deliver presentations, and close contracts for municipal, commercial, and industrial clients.

Responsibilities include outbound prospecting, pipeline management in Salesforce, and regular coordination with the Sales Manager for performance reviews.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of direct selling experience in a customer-facing role.
Valid driver’s license.
Waste or service industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new profitable commercial and industrial business.
Respond to leads within 2 hours and document next steps in Salesforce.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients and close deals.
Schedule blocked calls and perform cold calls to set first and follow-up appointments.
Maintain awareness of market trends and adapt to customer needs.
Maintain knowledge of services, pricing, and offer additional solutions.
Complete customer agreements and reports promptly.
Meet with Sales Manager to review activity and relationships.
Represent the company at events and trade shows.
