Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Account Executive in Lafayette, IN to identify leads and actively prospect, selling our full suite of waste management and recycling services. The role requires building relationships with decision makers, presenting solutions, and achieving revenue targets in a dynamic market.

You will use Salesforce for activity tracking, attend local events as needed, and collaborate with the Sales Manager on strategy and pipeline.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of direct selling experience in a customer-facing role.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Identify viable leads and prospect new business to meet revenue goals.
• Follow up on leads within 2 hours and document next steps in Salesforce.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients and close sales.
• Schedule and conduct initial and follow-up appointments with decision-makers.
• Maintain knowledge of services and pricing to upsell total waste stream solutions.
