Job summary

Rough Country seeks a Warranty Specialist to lead initiatives to reduce warranty claims across all product lines. You will collaborate with Customer Service, R&D, Category Management, Purchasing, Packaging, and Manufacturing, plus external suppliers to resolve root causes.

Duties include analyzing warranty trends, performing RCA on returned items (lighting, winches, shocks, bed covers), and supporting pre‑launch design to ensure service parts are system-ready and communicated to Customer Service.

• Autonomy and self-starting capability.
• Strong knowledge of aftermarket vehicle product function and installation.
• Detail-oriented with proficiency in precision measuring tools.
• Excellent communication and diplomatic interpersonal skills across all levels.
• Strong safety orientation with a clean violation record.
• Must meet established performance and good-standing requirements (internal candidates).

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Reporting on warranty trends (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and hands-on testing on returned products.
• Cross-functional issue resolution with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Participate in New Product Development reviews to identify failure points and configure service parts.
• Serve as the technical SME to support Customer Service on complex claims and warranty gaps.
