Our clientis seeking a Warranty Analysis Engineer to join their team. As a Warranty Analysis Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Engineering organization supporting Warranty Analysis and Resolution activities. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, proven problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate technical findings clearly, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Perform detailed warranty part analysis and failure investigations for returned field components.
- Conduct root cause analysis using engineering methodologies such as 8D, Fishbone, 5 Why, FMEA, and fault tree analysis.
- Analyze failed components related to powertrain and vehicle subsystems, with hands‑on focus on exhaust systems and related mechanical systems.
- Support disposition activities including teardown analysis, repairability assessment, scrap/rework recommendations, and containment actions.
- Prepare technical reports, failure summaries, and engineering recommendations to support corrective and preventive actions across quality, manufacturing, service, suppliers, and product engineering teams.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 5-10 years of experience in automotive warranty analysis, product engineering, quality engineering, or failure analysis.
- Strong understanding of automotive mechanical systems and fundamental engineering concepts.
- Experience with teardown analysis and component diagnostics, including interpretation of engineering drawings, GD&T, material specifications, and tolerance stack‑ups.
- Ability to use warranty databases and analytics tools to identify trends, recurring failures, and reliability concerns, along with strong technical documentation and communication skills.
