Job summary

NFI is seeking a Warehouse Operations Clerk to ensure shipping documents are accurate and timely. This role reports to the Operations Supervisor or Manager and requires coordinating with carriers and site staff to meet shipping requirements.

The position involves using a warehouse management system to manage shipments, prepare bills of lading, and maintain records. It also includes handling light warehouse tasks and supporting administrative duties as needed by leadership.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with Manhattan WMS preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred, not required.
• Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with outbound carriers daily via email to schedule shipments.
• Coordinate with site personnel to ensure operations meet requirements.
• Receive drivers and direct outbound shipments.
• Use WMS to open/close shipments and prepare bills of lading.
• Ensure drivers depart with correct paperwork.
• Maintain accuracy of shipping documents per SOP.
• Enter and maintain shipping data in the system.
• Assist with resolving discrepancies.
• Support material handling tasks (receiving, put-away, picking, packing, loading).
• Monitor trailer capacity and coordinate with spotters on moves.
• Help with other admin duties as needed.
• File outbound paperwork for easy access.
• Maintain seal log and load board accurately.
• Communicate work assignments as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
