Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Warehouse Operations Clerk to ensure shipping documents are completed accurately and on time. The role reports to the Operations Supervisor or Manager and involves coordinating with outbound carriers and site personnel.

Primary responsibilities include handling bills of lading, data entry in the WMS, and ensuring paperwork accompanies shipments. The position may require irregular hours, including nights or weekends, depending on customer needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to input data accurately into inventory records and generate daily inventory reports.
• Experience with (Manhattan) Warehouse Management System preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Communicates via email with outbound carriers daily, providing schedules for outbound shipments and equipment needs.
• Coordinates with site personnel to ensure operations meet requirements.
• Receives drivers and directs outbound shipments.
• Uses the warehouse management system to open/close shipments and prepare bills of lading.
• Ensures drivers depart with correct paperwork and accurate shipping documents.
• Maintains data in the WMS and supports data integrity for shipping activities.
• Assists in material handling tasks (receiving, put-away, picking, packing, loading).
• Monitors trailer capacity and coordinates with spotters on trailer moves.
• Performs other administrative duties as assigned by leadership.
