Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Warehouse Operations Clerk in Georgia to ensure accurate and timely handling of shipping documents. This role reports to the Operations Supervisor or Manager and focuses on outbound shipments, load planning, and regulatory paperwork.

Responsibilities include coordinating with carriers, maintaining shipment data in the warehouse management system, preparing bills of lading, and supporting material handling tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Manhattan Warehouse Management System experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.
• Ability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Communicates via email with outbound carriers daily, providing schedules for shipments and equipment needs.
• Receives drivers and directs outbound shipments.
• Uses warehouse management system to open/close shipments and prepare bills of lading.
• Ensures drivers depart with correct paperwork and accurate shipping documents.
• Maintains and enters data in the warehouse management system for shipping activities.
• Assists with material handling tasks such as receiving, put-away, picking, packing, or loading.
• Monitors trailer capacity and coordinates with spotters on moves.
• Performs other administrative duties as needed by leadership.
