Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Warehouse Operations Clerk to ensure accurate, timely shipping documents and efficient outbound processes. You will work with drivers, carriers, and site staff, using the Manhattan WMS to manage shipments and generate bills of lading.

The role requires attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Flexible hours, physical stamina, and occasional extended shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management System preferred.
• Computer applications using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.
• Good visual acuity to inspect shipments.
• Good finger dexterity to input data into inventory records.
• Ability to input data on the computer to create a daily inventory report.
• Accuracy in recordkeeping and in sorting, checking, counting, and verifying items received.
• Strong time management, organizational, planning and self-motivation skills.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is preferred, not required.
• MHE experience or desire to learn MHE.
• Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
• Requires the ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed by the customer.
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.
• Lift and move totes up to 50-100 pounds.
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
• Walking in the facility and around the area with great frequency, facilities are over a quarter mile in length.
• Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations.

Responsibilities

• Communicates via email with outbound carriers daily, providing schedules for outbound shipments and equipment needs.
• Communicates with site personnel to ensure operations meet requirements.
• Receive all drivers and direct outbound shipments.
• Use WMS to open/close shipments and prepare bills of lading.
• Ensure drivers depart with proper paperwork.
• Maintain accuracy of shipping documents per SOPs.
• Enter data into WMS and maintain shipping records.
• Resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Assist with material handling tasks (receiving, put-away, picking, packing, loading).
• Monitor trailer capacity and coordinate with spotters on moves.
• Perform additional admin duties as directed by leadership.
• File outbound paperwork for easy access.
• Maintain seal log and load board accuracy.
• Follow instructions to communicate work assignments.
• Other tasks as assigned
