Job summary

NFI is seeking a Warehouse Operations Clerk to ensure accurate and timely shipping documents. This role reports to the Operations Supervisor or Manager and supports outbound logistics across the site.

Key duties include coordinating with carriers, entering data in the WMS, preparing bills of lading, and maintaining records. The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with some evening/nights as needed, and may perform related material handling tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Manhattan WMS preferred.
• Ability to handle changing priorities and work under pressure.
• Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with outbound carriers daily to schedule shipments.
• Directs site personnel to meet shipping requirements.
• Receives drivers and coordinates outbound shipments.
• Uses warehouse management system to create and close shipments and bills of lading.
• Ensures drivers depart with proper paperwork.
• Maintains accuracy of shipping documents per SOPs.
• Enters and maintains shipping data in the WMS.
• Resolves discrepancies and assists with material handling tasks.
• Monitors trailer capacity and coordinates with spotters.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
