Job summary

NFI is seeking a Warehouse Operations Clerk to ensure accurate shipping documents and timely processing. The role reports to the Operations Supervisor or Manager and involves coordinating with carriers, handling WMS tasks, and supporting material handling activities on a fast-paced warehouse floor.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, warehouse experience, and strong data-entry skills. Some roles may require Spanish language ability. Flexibility to work irregular hours is a possibility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with outbound carriers daily via email to provide schedules and equipment needs.
• Open/close shipments in the warehouse management system and prepare bills of lading.
• Ensure drivers depart with correct paperwork and records are accurate.
• Maintain data in the WMS and assist in resolving discrepancies.
• Support material handling tasks: receiving, put-away, picking, packing, loading.
• Monitor trailer capacity and coordinate moves with spotters.
• File outbound paperwork and maintain the seal log and load board.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
