Job summary

Arvato is a leading global 3PL service provider in supply chain management and e-commerce. The Operations Supervisor will manage labor and equipment in the assigned warehouse department, ensuring timely, quality order completion.

You will plan, organize, and monitor receiving, storage, and distribution from suppliers, while prioritizing orders and training staff. The role emphasizes leadership, KPIs, adherence to safety and 5S, and collaboration with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 3–5 years of Supervisory experience or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of picking, packing, and shipping tasks.
• SAP or equivalent WMS systems experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with inventory research.

Responsibilities

• Hire and ensure proper training of new employees for the department
• Supervise and coordinate activities of employees and monitor departmental functions on the floor
• Receive and transfer materials
• Performance management of all employees (KPIs)
• Document, update, and ensure procedures and quality processes are followed
• Maintain supplies and equipment levels for the department
• Monitor and adhere to customer requests and vendor-specific shipping requirements
• Update and maintain timekeeping and metrics in business systems, as they relate to WMS reporting
• Ensure that shift-end specific department procedures with all systems are completed and floor end-of-shift closeout is followed
• New customer integration and migration testing
• Load and unload trucks
• Understand traffic coordination
• Continuous involvement and support with departmental process improvements
• Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
• Follow and maintain 5S Program and guidelines
• Perform any additional tasks that may be assigned to ensure an efficient, safe, clean, and goal-oriented work environment
