Job summary

Arvato is a leading global 3PL provider specializing in supply chain management and e-commerce. As an Operations Supervisor in our Kentucky warehouse, you will manage labor and equipment, ensure on-time, high-quality order fulfillment, and optimize receiving, storage, and distribution processes.

You will lead a shift, train associates, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement while staying aligned with safety and 5S guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse.
• Knowledge of picking, packing, and shipping tasks.
• SAP or equivalent WMS systems experience.
• 3–5 years of Supervisory experience or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to follow instructions, processes, and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with inventory research.
• Team-oriented.
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, notably Excel.

Responsibilities

• Hire and ensure proper training of new employees for the department.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of employees and monitor departmental functions on the floor.
• Receive and transfer materials.
• Performance management of all employees (KPIs).
• Document, update, and ensure procedures and quality processes are followed.
• Maintain supplies and equipment levels for the department.
• Monitor and adhere to customer requests and vendor-specific shipping requirements.
• Update and maintain timekeeping and metrics in business systems, as they relate to WMS reporting.
• Ensure that shift-end specific department procedures with all systems are completed and floor end-of-shift closeout is followed.
• New customer integration and migration testing.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Understand traffic coordination.
• Continuous involvement and support with departmental process improvements.
• Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations.
• Follow and maintain 5S Program and guidelines.
• Perform any additional tasks that may be assigned to ensure an efficient, safe, clean, and goal-oriented work environment.
