Job summary

Arvato is a leading global 3PL provider. The Operations Supervisor will manage labor and equipment in the warehouse, oversee receiving, storage and distribution, and train associates on shifts.

You will prioritize orders, monitor KPIs, and ensure procedures and quality processes are followed. Responsibilities include hiring, supervising floor activities, timekeeping, and ensuring compliance with customer shipping requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred in logistics or operations
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Experience with inventory control and KPI management
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office
• Experience with SAP or WMS systems
• Ability to train and develop staff
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Hire and train new employees for the department
• Supervise and coordinate floor activities and staff
• Receive and transfer materials
• Manage KPIs and performance of staff
• Document and ensure procedures and quality processes
• Maintain department supplies and equipment
• Adhere to customer shipping requirements
• Maintain timekeeping and metrics in systems
• Ensure shift-end procedures and closeout are followed
• Support new customer integration and testing
• Load and unload trucks
• Understand traffic coordination
• Drive process improvements across the department
• Follow safety, 5S, and hygiene guidelines
• Perform other tasks to maintain safe, efficient operations
