Job summary

Arvato is a global 3PL provider seeking an Operations Supervisor to manage labor and equipment of a warehouse department. You will plan, organize, and monitor receiving, storage, and distribution while prioritizing orders and training staff.

The role emphasizes ensuring timely, quality order execution and adherence to procedures, with strong focus on safety and continuous improvement. This is an on-site position at a Wisconsin facility.

Responsibilities

• Hire and train new employees for the department.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of employees on the floor.
• Receive and transfer materials.
• Manage labor resources and monitor KPIs.
• Document and ensure procedures and quality processes are followed.
• Maintain supplies and equipment levels for the department.
• Adhere to customer requests and vendor shipping requirements.
• Update timekeeping and metrics in WMS reporting systems.
• Complete end-of-shift procedures and floor closeout.
• Lead new customer integration and migration testing.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Understand traffic coordination in workflow.
• Support process improvements within the department.
• Follow safety and 5S guidelines.
• Perform any additional tasks to ensure an efficient and safe environment.
