Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse activities, including receiving, putaway, picking, and shipping, while driving efficiency and safety. You will supervise staff, enforce SOPs, and collaborate with safety to uphold OSHA standards and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a distribution center, familiarity with RF devices, and a PIT certification within two weeks of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or 3–5 years distribution center experience.
• 3–5 years of warehouse supervisory experience in a re-distribution/distribution center.
• Experience with handheld RF units and voice recognition is preferred.
• Powered industrial truck certification is required within 2 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and monitor daily warehouse activities to ensure quality, safety and adherence to procedures.
• Manage staffing, training, performance and evaluations to sustain productivity.
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain safety by enforcing policy, conducting toolbox talks and safety inspections.
• Monitor expenses and provide resources to support daily operations.
• Prepare reports and communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
• Collaborate with safety to address observations and investigations.
