Job summary

Sysco Columbus is seeking a warehouse supervisor to oversee receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping activities. You will mentor a team of 15–25 colleagues, balance workloads, and drive safe, productive performance across shifts in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years warehouse experience; supervisory training preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Basic math and computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 15–25 colleagues and manage staffing plans.
• Coordinate receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
• Coach and evaluate performance; coach for safety and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and company procedures.
• Collaborate with Inventory Control and Transportation to optimize flow.
