Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in New Jersey to oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping while ensuring safety and efficiency. You will lead staff, enforce procedures, and optimize workflows to meet service levels for customers and suppliers.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory warehouse experience or a Bachelor's degree, with knowledge of RF devices and WMS systems. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or 3-5 years equivalent education/work experience in a distribution center.
• 3-5 years warehouse supervisory experience in a redistribution/distribution center.
• Experience with handheld RF units and WMS systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and monitor daily activities of warehouse workers to ensure compliance with procedures, quality, and safety.
• Manage staffing, training, and performance to achieve productivity goals.
• Conduct staff meetings and participate in hiring, evaluations, and corrective actions.
• Suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain reports and logs for productivity and safety.
