Job summary

Floor & Decor in Portland, OR is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to direct daily warehouse operations and supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators. You will support the Receiving Supervisor in managing the freight schedule and ensure safe, efficient distribution of products.

Responsibilities include scheduling staff, overseeing shipping and receiving, inventory control, equipment maintenance, and safety programs in accordance with OSHA.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Strong interpersonal, team-building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with other departments and maintain relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient in basic mathematics and Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving and inventory control.
• Maintain storage buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and safety programs per OSHA regulations.
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Resolve shipping, packing slip and invoice discrepancies and report to management.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
