Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to direct all warehouse operations across stores. You will supervise specialists, order pickers and forklift operators, and assist the Receiving Supervisor in managing daily freight schedules based on inventory and customer needs.

The role requires strong leadership, coordination with other departments, and a focus on safety, training, and process improvement across the warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse or distribution settings.
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain relationships with other departments.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily scheduling of warehouse personnel to ensure proper manning for shipping and receiving.
• Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance and inventory control.
• Manage Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors and product staging.
• Ensure maintenance of warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs with management.
• Uphold safety programs and OSHA compliance in the warehouse environment.
• Train associates on SOPs and enforce standardized procedures.
• Address employee inquiries and resolve problems.
• Coordinate with other departments to support efficient warehouse operations.
• Complete activity reports for management and monitor documentation flow.
