Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to direct daily warehouse operations at our Portland, ME stores. You will supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators, while supporting the Receiving Supervisor with freight scheduling aligned to customer needs.

You will lead staffing, safety programs, and cross-department coordination to ensure efficient shipping and receiving, inventory control, and accurate paperwork processing.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with multiple departments within the company.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills with Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities such as shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs with leadership.
• Implement warehouse safety programs per OSHA and internal standards.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and provide training to associates.
• Address employee inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient operations.
• Complete management activity reports and monitor paperwork flow.
• Resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoices, and receiver reports.
• Execute Storage Buy Audit COP and manage product counting readiness.
• Ensure proper product storage and inventory rotation.
• Perform other related duties as directed.
