Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee store warehouse operations, directing personnel like specialists, order pickers and forklift operators. You will manage daily freight schedules aligned with customer and inventory needs, ensuring safe, efficient distribution.

Responsibilities include scheduling, directing daily activities, inventory control, and maintaining equipment and safety programs.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in warehouse or distribution center.
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with other departments and maintain relations across the company.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills with Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure efficient shipment and receipt of products.
• Direct daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control.
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, handling discrepancies, and staging of products.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and safety programs per OSHA regulations.
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize warehouse operations.
• Prepare activity reports and manage paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control.
