Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to direct and oversee store warehouse operations, supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators. The role supports the Receiving Supervisor in managing daily freight schedules based on customer and inventory needs.

The candidate will schedule staff, supervise daily activities, ensure safety and compliance, and collaborate with other departments to streamline warehouse workflows.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience (warehouse or distribution center preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills; ability to work in Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily scheduling of warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control.
• Maintain warehouse safety programs and ensure safe, efficient equipment use and repairs.
• Coordinate with other departments to facilitate efficient warehouse operations.
• Complete activity reports and resolve discrepancies across shipping, invoicing, and receiving documents.
