Job summary

POOLCORP is hiring for a Warehouse Operations Management Trainee in Kansas. The Management in Training - Operations (MIT) program is an entry-level, hands-on training track based in our Wichita distribution warehouse, with six months of guided learning and real responsibilities.

Training is on-site starting January 2027, with relocation assistance and a clear path to Operations Supervisor or Manager roles nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree with minimum 2.5 GPA in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations or related field.
• Experience in leadership or problem solving roles, or relevant internships/activities.
• Willingness to relocate during and after the program at company expense.
• Ability to travel 25% of the time.
• Ability to maneuver heavy machinery and lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training in Operations, Management and Purchasing across the distribution center.
• Observe experienced staff to learn methods, procedures and performance standards.
• Shadow contractors, service providers and customers to learn the business.
• Attend classroom training at the EDGEucation Center in Plano, TX.
• Deliver a final presentation to senior management at program end.
• Undertake other duties and special projects as assigned.
