Job summary

POOLCORP is seeking candidates for the Warehouse Operations Management Trainee (MIT) program. This entry-level role, based in distribution warehouses, provides six months of guided training across operations, management and purchasing.

Participants learn through classroom sessions in Plano, Texas, practical on-site assignments, and exposure to leadership and policy discussions. Relocation may be required for career development and career growth opportunities within POOLCORP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Leadership or problem-solving work experience; internships or similar activities count.
• Willingness to relocate and travel up to 25%.
• Ability to thrive in a distribution warehouse environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training across Operations, Management and Purchasing in the distribution center.
• Observe and learn methods, procedures and performance standards from experienced staff.
• Participate in classroom training at the EDGEucation Center in Plano, TX.
• Set performance goals with MIT Program Manager and complete the program with a presentation to senior management.
