Job summary

POOLCORP is recruiting for its Management in Training - Operations (MIT) Program at our distribution warehouses. This entry-level track offers six months of hands-on training across operations, management, and purchasing, supported by mentoring and resources.

After graduation, program participants are eligible for Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager roles nationwide. Relocation assistance is provided, with ongoing development through EDGEucation Center in Plano, Texas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations or related discipline with minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Leadership and problem-solving experience required.
• Willingness to relocate during and after program (company expense).
• Ability to travel 25% of the time.
• Ability to maneuver heavy machinery and lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training in Operations, Management, and Purchasing areas.
• Observe experienced staff to learn procedures and performance standards.
• Shadow contractors and customers to learn swimming pool, irrigation and landscaping distribution.
• Attend classroom sessions at EDGEucation Center in Plano, Texas.
• Present a comprehensive final project to senior management for MIT program completion.
