Job summary

POOLCORP is recruiting for the Management in Training - Operations (MIT) program, based in our distribution warehouse. The entry-level, hands-on program guides you through distribution operations, with guided 6-months and resources to prepare for supervisor roles nationwide.

Graduates have opportunities in Operations leadership and a pathway to management across the United States, with on-site training in multiple facilities and relocation support after training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree with minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Experience in leadership or problem-solving roles.
• Willingness to relocate during/after the program (company expense).
• Willingness to travel about 25% of the time.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery and lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training across Operations, Management, and Purchasing.
• Observe experienced employees to learn methods and standards.
• Shadow contractors, service providers, and customers to learn the business.
• Participate in EDGEucation Center classroom training covering operations, financials, leadership and systems.
• Present a final senior-level management overview after MIT program.
