Job summary

POOLCORP offers an entry-level Management in Training - Operations (MIT) program based in a distribution warehouse, designed to develop future leaders in swimming pool supply, irrigation and landscape distribution. Participants receive six months of guided training and may move into Operations Supervisor or Manager roles nationwide.

The program begins on-site in Plano, Texas, with eventual relocation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations or related discipline with minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Work experience in a leadership and/or problem solving role; internships or volunteer leadership considered.
• Willingness to relocate during and after the program; travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training across Operations, Management and Purchasing.
• Observe experienced staff to learn methods, procedures and performance standards.
• Shadow contractors/builders, service/maintenance and retail customers to learn the business.
