Job summary

POOLCORP invites candidates to join the Management in Training - Operations (MIT) Program based in a distribution warehouse. This entry-level, hands-on track includes 6 months of guided learning in pool supply, irrigation and landscape distribution, with opportunities nationwide after graduation.

Relocation is provided at company expense, and travel is expected up to 25%. Preferred candidates hold a 2.5+ GPA and demonstrate leadership, problem-solving, and a customer-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations or related discipline.
• Leadership and problem-solving experience in distribution or related fields.
• Willingness to relocate during/after the program (company expense) and travel 25%.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training across Operations, Management and Purchasing in the distribution center.
• Observe experienced staff to learn methods, procedures, and performance standards.
• Shadow contractors, service providers and customers to understand pool, irrigation and landscaping businesses.
• Participate in EDGEucation Center trainings on operations, financials, leadership and operating systems.
• Deliver a final presentation to senior management after MIT completion.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
