Job summary

POOLCORP, the world’s leading distributor of outdoor living products, invites you to join the Management in Training – Operations (MIT) Program. This entry‑level, hands‑on training is based in our distribution warehouse and runs for six months, providing guidance to learn about the swimming pool supply, irrigation and landscape distribution industry.

Graduates may pursue Operations Supervisor or Manager roles nationwide after completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Experience in a leadership or problem solving role.
• Willingness to relocate during and after the program (at company expense) and travel 25%.
• Ability to work in a distribution warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands‑on training in all areas of the distribution center: Operations, Management and Purchasing.
• Shadow contractors, service/maintenance, and retail store customers to learn their aspects of the business.
• Participate in EDGEucation Center training in Plano, Texas, covering operations, leadership and systems.
• Present final MIT program project to senior management at completion.
