Job summary

POOLCORP is hiring for the Management in Training - Operations (MIT) Program, an entry-level, hands-on training track based in our distribution warehouse. It offers 6 months of guided learning in operations, purchasing, and leadership, with a path to supervisor/manager roles nationwide after graduation.

You'll train on-site (Plano EDGEucation Center) and, after May completion, may relocate with company assistance. The program emphasizes growth, learning, and a long-term career in operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree with minimum 2.5 GPA in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations or related discipline.
• Demonstrated leadership or problem-solving experience in a distribution/warehouse environment.
• Willingness to relocate during and after the program (company expense).
• Ability to travel 25% of the time and lift up to 75 pounds; physical capability for warehouse work.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training across Operations, Management and Purchasing in the distribution center.
• Observe and learn methods, procedures and performance standards from experienced staff.
• Shadow contractors and customers to learn pool, irrigation and landscape distribution aspects.
• Participate in EDGEucation Center classroom sessions covering operations, finance, leadership and systems.
• Present a final project to senior management at MIT completion.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
