Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to direct warehouse associates, ensure safety and quality, and manage daily workflow in the distribution environment.

You will schedule workloads, assign duties, monitor outbound shipping, coach staff, and participate in safety initiatives while aligning with corporate procedures.

A bachelor’s degree and three years of warehousing experience, plus supervisory experience, are preferred; MS Office skills required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree from a four-year college or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years of warehousing/distribution experience.
• Minimum of six months supervisory experience.
• PC and computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Determine work volume, prepare schedules and expedite workflow for cost effectiveness.
• Assign duties and examine work for quality and policy conformity.
• Schedule job assignments for inventories and ensure accurate shipping of outbound orders.
• Issue instructions and maintain associate accountability per SOPs.
• Mentor, coach and evaluate staff performance and conduct corrective actions.
• Support Safety Program goals and participate in Safety Committee activities.
• Assist in process development and continuous improvement initiatives.
