Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to direct the work of warehouse associates, ensure safety and quality, and manage daily workflow to optimize cost efficiency. You will assign duties, schedule inventories, and monitor outbound shipments to meet customer deadlines.

You will mentor staff, implement Standard Works, participate in the Safety Committee, and drive process improvements. A bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in warehousing or distribution, and supervisory experience are

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years of experience in warehousing, distribution, or related field.
• Minimum of six months supervisory experience.
• PC and Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct the work of associates in the warehouse/distribution environment.
• Ensure safety and quality of work for departments and areas of responsibility.
• Determine work volume, prepare schedules, and expedite workflow for cost effectiveness.
• Assign duties and inspect work for quality and policy conformity.
• Schedule inventories and monitor outbound shipments.
• Provide written and oral instructions; enforce accountability.
• Mentor and coach associates; conduct performance evaluations.
• Assist in safety program and process improvements.
