Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to direct warehouse associates, ensure safety and quality, and maintain efficient processes that support on-time shipments.

Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, at least three years of warehousing or distribution experience, and a minimum six months of supervisory experience. Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office is expected, and travel is anticipated at about 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years warehousing, distribution, or related experience.
• Minimum of six months supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine work volume, prepare schedules, and optimize workflow for cost effectiveness.
• Assign duties and inspect work for quality, neatness, and policy conformance.
• Schedule job assignments for periodic and/or special inventories.
• Monitor, direct, and perform outbound shipping when necessary.
• Issue written and oral instructions and ensure accountability per SOPs.
• Mentor and coach associates, including performance evaluations.
