Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Lead Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive data-driven CI initiatives across operations. You will lead value-creating projects, coordinate with diverse teams, and deliver measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

The role requires strong data analytics, lean six sigma expertise, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a high-velocity environment. Travel up to 10-15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain with 7+ years in warehousing, transportation, or manufacturing
• MBA or Master’s in Industrial Engineering preferred with 5+ years related experience
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau) and SQL
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge and experience implementing CI projects

Responsibilities

• Lead CI projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost and growth metrics
• Collect data, perform analyses, map processes and drive value through transformation plans
• Coach teams in Lean, QA, and CI methods and facilitate Kaizen events
