Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Lead Engineer to drive continuous improvement across operations. You will collect data, perform analyses, map processes, and lead high-impact CI projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth.

You will coach teams in lean methods, facilitate Kaizen events, and partner with management to implement automation and data-driven solutions. Strong communication and cross-functional leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field with 5–7+ years in CI/industrial operations.
• Experience leading high-impact CI projects and managing teams.
• Strong data analytics, statistical analysis, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across warehousing and distribution operations.
• Coach teams in Lean, Six Sigma, and QA principles; run Kaizen events.
• Collaborate with management to implement automation and process changes.
