Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Lead Engineer to drive continuous improvement across operations. You will lead data-driven CI, engineering, and automation efforts to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost while mentoring teams in lean practices.

Responsibilities include executing value stream maps, Kaizen events, and process improvements, with frequent interaction with management and customers. Travel is up to 10–15% and a strong emphasis on data analytics and project leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with CI, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies in warehousing or manufacturing.
• Ability to map processes, identify gaps, and drive value through data-driven improvements.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI projects across operations to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Coach teams on lean methods and sustainment through Kaizen events and VSMs.
• Develop and monitor metrics; report progress to management and customers.
