Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Lead Continuous Improvement Engineer in the United States to drive data-driven CI initiatives across warehousing and distribution operations.

You will lead complex projects, mentor teams, and apply lean tools to raise safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. You will partner with cross-functional teams, manage scope from design to sustainment, and report progress against site objectives while championing a culture of continuous improvement and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain with 5–7+ years in warehousing, transportation, or manufacturing.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma and CPMP/ISO/QMS preferred.
• Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau and SQL.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional CI project management.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and performs statistical analysis; maps processes and identifies gaps.
• Leads high-impact CI projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth.
• Coaches teams in CI, QA, and Lean principles; applies PDCA and Kaizen in operations.
• Facilitates Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen events; drives sustainment and accountability.
