Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Missouri seeks a Lead Engineer to support the Continuous Improvement culture by applying CI methods to new and existing operations. This high-influence role will identify and drive change through data-driven CI, engineering, and automation efforts to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth.

You will interface with employees at all levels and report to the CI Manager/Sr. CI Manager.

Responsibilities

• Collect data and perform statistical analysis to identify process gaps and drive value.
• Lead high-impact CI projects across the operation, including start-ups and expansions, and support automation initiatives.
• Coach teams in lean methods, CI, Quality Assurance, and Kaizen events; facilitate Value Stream Maps and A3 charter work.
