Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Lead Continuous Improvement Engineer to apply data analytics and lean methods across warehousing and logistics operations. You will identify process gaps, lead Kaizen events, and drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery and costs.

The role interfaces with multiple levels of the organization, may supervise CI professionals, and reports to the CI Manager/Sr. CI Manager within the Operations leadership team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years in warehousing, transportation or manufacturing.
• 7+ years in related work experience in the warehousing & transportation and/or manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, SQL and data visualization.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma and ISO/QMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage high-impact CI projects across the operation.
• Drive value through data-driven CI, engineering, and automation initiatives.
• Coach teams on lean methods to achieve operational excellence.
• Deliver regular progress reports and sustain improvements.
