Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Lead Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive data-driven CI initiatives across warehousing, distribution, and transportation. You will identify gaps, lead changes, and deliver measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth.

You will leverage data analytics, Lean techniques, and automation to influence across all levels and functions, including start-ups, retrofits, and expansions. This role reports to the CI Manager/Sr.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with 7+ years in warehousing, transportation, or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (PowerBI/Tableau) and SQL/DAX.
• Advanced knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, and Value Stream Mapping.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact CI projects across the operation to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Apply lean methods, map value streams, and coach teams for sustainment.
• Provide regular data-driven reports and support inventory and supply chain decisions.
• Mentor CI and QA professionals and participate in hiring decisions as needed.
