Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Lead Engineer to drive continuous improvement across operations. You will lead data-driven CI, automation, and engineering projects to raise safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth while coaching teams in Lean principles.

This senior role interfaces with multiple levels in the organization, reports to CI leadership, and may supervise CI engineers and QA professionals as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain with 7+ years in warehousing, transport, or manufacturing.
• 7+ years in related warehousing/transport/manufacturing experience required.
• Advanced data analytics, Power BI/Tableau, SQL, and Lean Six Sigma proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact CI projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth.
• Design and implement CI plans and Kaizen events across operations.
• Coach teams on lean methods and manage CI resources.
