Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Lead Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive data-driven CI initiatives across operations in the Hartford area.

You will lead high-impact projects, coach teams in lean principles, and partner with management to deliver improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth. The role requires 7+ years in CI within warehousing, transportation, or manufacturing, plus strong data visualization skills (Power BI/Tableau) and SQL/DAX capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain) with 7+ years in warehousing, transportation or manufacturing.
• Master’s degree in related field with 5+ years experience; MBA with undergrad in Engineering is acceptable.
• Proficiency in Power BI/Tableau and SQL/DAX; strong Office Suite skills.

Responsibilities

• Collects data, performs statistical analysis, identifies process gaps, and implements CI plans.
• Manage high-impact CI projects across the operation with measurable results.
• Coach teams in lean principles and CI methods; lead Kaizen events.
• Provide regular data-based progress reports and input on supply chain strategy.
• Support automation projects and liaison with account management.
