Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Lead Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive data‑driven CI across operations, identify and lead change, and elevate safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth. The role interfaces with staff at all levels and may manage CI resources under the CI Manager.

You will facilitate Value Stream Maps and Kaizen events, coach leaders in Lean methods, and deliver tangible performance gains. Strong analytics (Power BI/Tableau, SQL), Excel/Visio, and project‑lead experience are required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in warehousing/transport/manufacturing, or Master's with 5+ years.
• 7+ years in related warehousing, transportation and/or manufacturing.
• Advanced Excel/PowerPoint/Visio; Access skills are Expert.
• PowerBI/Tableau data visualization and SQL/DAX knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect data, analyze, map processes, identify gaps, and implement CI plans.
• Lead high impact CI projects across the operation.
• Coach Lean methods and sustainment; facilitate improvements.
• Facilitate Value Stream Maps and Kaizen events.
• Provide regular reports and input on inventory/SC strategy.
